1. What equipment is required to play?

The Ajax Pickering Dolphins Football Club (APDFC) provides registered players with all the necessary equipment with the exception of a few items (see What you need to purchase.)

2. What you need to purchase:

• Football /Soccer shoes.

• In 2010, at the Houseleague Level, AP Dolphins Football Club have introduce an All-In-One Pants (all necessary pads sewn in/included) available for $25 at equipment hand-out (Cash only).  The All-In-One Pants does NOT need to be returned at the end of the season. (Note: A Girdle is not required to be purchase as the All-In-One Pants has all components included; Knee, Thigh, Tailbone, Girdle, Belt and Pants).

3. Equipment Provided:

• Not to be returned at the end of the season

The following items are not required to be returned at the end of the season. These are yours to keep.

• • Purchased All-In-One Pants
  • Belt (if applicable)
  • Girdle (if applicable)
  • Mouth guard
  • A game jersey will be provided to the registrant once he/she has been assigned to a team.

• To be returned/property of APDFC

The following items must be returned at the end of the season and/or when personnel instructed by the Director of Equipment or by APDFC.

• • Certified helmets with Chin Strap
  • Shoulder pads
  • Provided Pants (with applicable pads)

4. Equipment Deposit:

An equipment Deposit Fee applicable to all registrants is required at equipment pick-up.  This needs to be a separate, additional $500 post-dated cheque that WILL ONLY BE CASHED if the registrant fails to return the football equipment within the prescribed time frame.

5. EQUIPMENT RULES:

YOUR equipment is YOUR responsibility. Air it out after each practice or game.

• DO NOT SIT ON YOUR HELMET

• DO NOT CUT ANY PART OF YOUR JERSEY

• DO NOT USE ANY OTHER PIECE OF EQUIPMENT UNLESS APPROVED BY DIRECTOR OF EQUIPMENT

• DO NOT PAINT OR PUT DECALS OTHER THAN WHAT IS SUPPLIED ON ANY PART OF YOUR HELMET

• DO NOT THROW YOUR HELMET

• DO NOT REMOVE YOUR HELMET ON THE PLAYING FIELD DURING A GAME

• DO NOT LEAVE YOUR EQUIPMENT UNGUARDED

• DO NOT LOAN OUT YOUR EQUIPMENT

• DO NOT PRACTICE OR PLAY WITHOUT A MOUTHGUARD

• DO NOT LOSE ANY OF YOUR EQUIPMENT OR YOU WILL HAVE TO REPLACE THE DOLLAR VALUE
