We are excited to announce that we will have Flag Football in the summer of 2022!!

We’re excited to announce that our Youth Flag Football is back for the summer of 2022. The Dolphins Flag Football program is an instructional and fun program open to children ages 7-12 (2010-2015). Every Tuesday evening from May – July.  Players will participate in skills and drills prior to playing in friendly games.

• Begins: May 26
• Ends: July 28

• Location: Pine Ridge Secondary School
• Games are played every Tuesday starting May 26th, 2022

 
For players participating in tackle football, and fall in the 7 – 12-year old age groups, can also participate in our flag football program, as there are no conflicts with practices and games. 

Divisions: 

• Peewee - born in 2011 or 2010
• Atom - born in 2012 or 2014
• Tyke - born in 2015 and under

Generally, sessions will not be cancelled by the Durham Dolphins  unless the field is closed by the City or Police, or The City of Pickering due to inclement weather.

Field closures will be posted on our website on the home page. Decisions will be made with the City of Pickering, and approximately 2-3 hours prior to an event. You will also receive an email from the club indicating that football is cancelled, but it is your responsibility to check the website & email.

Rain alone does NOT constitute bad weather. Games could be cancelled due to lightning, field conditions – including flooding, extreme heat or cold.

In the event of any cancellation(s) beyond the club's control, we will do our best to reschedule only ONE missed day. As these issues are beyond the club's control, there will be no refunds issued for missed days. 

Refund, less any incurred cost will be given to a player who has quit due to medical reasons. A doctor’s note is required explaining said reason, prior to start of league play. Any player who leaves or quits FOR ANY REASON after the start of league play will NOT be entitled to a refund. No refunds shall be issued under any circumstances until a full payment has cleared the bank. No refunds shall be issued until confirmation that all equipment and property has been duly returned. All refund requests must be reviewed and approved by the Executive of Durham Dolphins Football.
