With countless championships and many provincial all-stars, the Durham Dolphins are established as one of the clubs in Ontario. Below are some of the athletes who have gotten to play college ball and some who have made it all the way to CFL! We even have a couple of athletes who have come back to the Dolphins to give back to the community. So go down memory lane and see if you recognize any of our players.
The Durham Dolphins boast a first-class facility that is among the premier facilities in Ontario athletics. The 52000 square feet performance training centre is home to DDF to train and practice all year long. The intimate artificial turf field seats 1500 people and provides passionate fan base a home field advantage for its opponent.
Richard Karikari is a retired professional football player, CFL All-Star, Entrepreneur of the Year, and Owner of Complete Performance Centre (CPC). He has worked as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for several university football programs. Richard’s commitment to athletic development in the Durham region began over 15 years ago when he decided that he wanted to give the athletes of Durham an opportunity to train in an elite yet welcoming environment, which is not available anywhere else in the region. Throughout his professional football career, Richard had opportunities to train at North America’s top athletic training centres, along side top NFL and CFL athletes with top athletic trainers. This fostered a strong desire to want to bring that caliber of training back to Durham.
